Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for programs, consulting sessions, and educational products purchased from Wristwipeau.

1. Overview

At Wristwipeau, we are committed to providing high-quality educational content and transparent business practices. We understand that circumstances may arise where a refund is appropriate, and we have established this policy to ensure fair and consistent treatment of all refund requests.

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made directly through our website wristwipeau.world, via email enrolment, or through in-person registration at our Newtown office. By purchasing any of our programs or services, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

This policy operates in conjunction with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides statutory guarantees that cannot be excluded. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes guarantees, rights, or remedies you may have under the ACL or other applicable consumer protection legislation.

2. Australian Consumer Law Guarantees

Under the Australian Consumer Law, our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have services remedied if they fail to meet consumer guarantees and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

A major failure occurs when the service has a problem that would have stopped you from purchasing it if you had known about it, is substantially unfit for its common purpose, or differs significantly from the description provided. If you believe a major failure has occurred, contact us immediately to discuss your options under the ACL.

3. Program Enrolment Refunds

3.1 Cooling-Off Period

If you enrol in a paid educational program, you may request a full refund within fourteen (14) days of your enrolment date, provided you have not accessed more than twenty percent (20%) of the program content. This cooling-off period gives you adequate time to review program materials and determine whether the content aligns with your learning goals.

To calculate content access, we track the number of modules, lessons, or resources you have opened or downloaded. If you have accessed more than 20% of available content, the cooling-off period refund is no longer available, though other refund options described below may still apply.

3.2 Refund After Cooling-Off Period

After the fourteen-day cooling-off period, refund requests for program enrolments will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Partial refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • Documented technical issues that prevented access to program materials for an extended period and were not resolved within a reasonable timeframe
  • Significant changes to program content or structure after your enrolment that materially differ from what was described at the time of purchase
  • Exceptional personal circumstances, evaluated at our discretion, such as serious illness or relocation outside Australia that prevents continued participation

Partial refunds, when approved, are calculated based on the proportion of program content not yet accessed, minus an administrative fee of fifteen percent (15%) of the original purchase price.

3.3 Non-Refundable Program Components

The following are generally not eligible for refund once delivered:

  • Digital materials that have been fully downloaded or accessed
  • Completed consulting sessions, whether conducted in person or virtually
  • Customised learning plans that have been delivered and reviewed with the participant
  • Program extensions or add-on modules purchased separately after initial enrolment

4. Consulting Session Refunds

4.1 Cancellation by Participant

If you need to cancel a scheduled consulting session, the following terms apply:

  • More than 48 hours before the session: Full refund or free rescheduling to a new date and time
  • 24 to 48 hours before the session: Fifty percent (50%) refund or one free rescheduling within thirty (30) days
  • Less than 24 hours before the session: No refund; rescheduling may be offered at our discretion subject to a rescheduling fee of twenty-five percent (25%) of the session cost
  • No-show without prior notice: No refund or rescheduling entitlement

4.2 Cancellation by Wristwipeau

If we cancel a consulting session due to facilitator unavailability, technical difficulties on our end, or other reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost. We will provide as much advance notice as possible and work with you to find a suitable alternative.

5. Educational Product Refunds

Standalone educational products, such as downloadable guides, workbooks, or resource packs, may be refunded within seven (7) days of purchase if the product has not been downloaded or accessed. Once a digital product has been downloaded, it is considered delivered and is not eligible for refund unless it is defective or materially different from its description.

Physical educational materials, if offered, may be returned within fourteen (14) days of delivery in their original, unopened condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to assist@wristwipeau.world with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Name]"
  2. Include your full name, email address used for enrolment, order or enrolment reference number, and date of purchase
  3. Provide a clear explanation of the reason for your refund request
  4. Attach any supporting documentation if applicable (e.g., medical certificates for exceptional circumstances, screenshots of technical issues)

7. Refund Processing Timeframes

We aim to acknowledge all refund requests within two (2) business days of receipt. Refund decisions are typically communicated within ten (10) business days, though complex cases may require additional review time.

Approved refunds are processed as follows:

  • Credit or debit card payments: Refunded to the original payment method within five (5) to ten (10) business days after approval. Your financial institution may require additional time to reflect the credit in your account.
  • Bank transfer payments: Refunded to the originating bank account within ten (10) business days after approval.
  • Other payment methods: Processed using the original payment method where possible, or by alternative arrangement agreed upon with the participant.

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback with your financial institution. Chargebacks initiated without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in suspension of your access to programs and services.

If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at assist@wristwipeau.world within thirty (30) days of the charge. We will investigate and respond promptly. Valid billing errors will be corrected through the refund process described above.

9. Subscription and Recurring Payments

If we offer subscription-based access to program content or ongoing consulting packages, the following additional terms apply:

  • You may cancel a subscription at any time by contacting us or through your account settings if available
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided for unused portions of the current period unless required by the ACL
  • We will send a reminder email at least seven (7) days before each renewal charge
  • Subscription price changes will be communicated at least thirty (30) days in advance

10. Transfer Policy

As an alternative to a refund, you may request to transfer your program enrolment to another eligible individual. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to our approval. A transfer fee of ten percent (10%) of the original enrolment fee may apply. Transferred enrolments are subject to the same terms as the original purchase, including any remaining access period.

11. Changes to This Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will not affect refund entitlements for purchases made before the change date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
